Shramanerika Jin Jian

I worked as a pharmacist for over a decade when I came to the realization that modern medicine provided little cure for the numerous human illnesses. Quite frequently, I stood by feeling powerless, helpless, and unable to do anything as the patient succumbs to his/her illness. Is there an antidote for the myriad human ailments? I found the answer in the Buddha’s teachings. Now, instead of dispensing drugs and pills that only provide a superficial remedy, I'm working first on curing myself then hopefully I will be able to truly heal others in the future.
